Living Our Mission

In 2020, we launched the Nortek Gives community service program to encourage employees to live out our mission of Creating a Better Tomorrow Every Day beyond the walls of our manufacturing facilities. Read their stories below.

Irene Jaquiz, Daniela Reyes, Yuliana Carillo, Karla Perez and Silvia Herrera from our Human Resources team in Saltillo, Mexico, handed out toys, bags of candy and breakfast to children in Presa de los Muchachos, a rural community near Saltillo.

Kevin Flynn, Jose Reyes, Roberto Filipe and Dakota Maxwell from our Okarche and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, facilities installed a vent hood and fan for a poly cut line machine and fine-tuned existing equipment in the Center of Family Love’s Filters for Life facility.

Alex Kuznetsov, Phil Millmaker, Ryan Moon, Wayne Larson, Dion Drangstveit, Brandon Nordstrom, Chad Luther and Clayton Smith from our CLEANSUITE® team in Tualatin, Oregon, cooked and packaged 80 burritos for donation to a local organization called P:ear that serves homeless youth through job training programs, recreational activities and meals.

Nortek Gives Highlight
Anne-Sophie Delisle, Project Engineer in Montreal, Canada, led a virtual engineering workshop to encourage high school students to pursue a career in the field. Students were tasked with building beehives to help increase the presence of wild bees near the crops they pollinate.
